Ken is a native of Dalkey, coming from a strong boating background. His knowledge of the sea and waterways of Dalkey Sound are second nature to him.
Ken's first boat "Lilly Rose" was named after his granddaughter. He later commissioned a new boat called "Emma" which now serves as his ferry vessel.
The Emma passed all Department of Marine requirements and is licensed to carry up to twelve passengers. Life jackets are provided for all ages.
Ken holds all necessary boating qualifications required by the authorities.
Hours of Operation: 7 days a week, 10am to 6pm.

Dalkey Island is ideal for fishing, sailing, angling and diving. Pollock, Coalfish, Wrasse and Mackerel are regularly caught in the waters surrounding the island.
Dalkey Island is home to a growing colony of seals and a herd of wild goats.
Birdwatch Ireland has established a colony of Roseate Terns on Maiden Rock. Pods of bottlenose dolphins are frequently spotted around Dalkey Island.
The island's history stretches back over 6,500 years to the Mesolithic era. Evidence of settlement continued through the Neolithic, Bronze Age and Early Christian periods.
Today visitors can enjoy a peaceful experience while exploring one of Ireland's most historic islands.
